About

Come hang out, make something, and connect over good food and good company. Pizza Pool Party brings together three activities where you can get creative, strike up a conversation, or simply enjoy being around others.

Pizza Making with Ngoh Shian Bang
Get hands-on with fresh dough, pick your toppings and make your own pizza from scratch! While your pizza takes shape, pull up a seat, trade stories and get to know the people around you.

Fishing 4 Your Thoughts with LONGKANGBRAIN
Cast a line into your mind and see what you reel in! Tag team and fish for words, thoughts and feelings, then piece them together to serve up a collaborative poem, one slice at a time. No cooking or literary experience needed 😉

Bracelet Making with PS Wong Art
Make something for yourself or someone else! Create at your own pace, with a facilitator on hand if you need a little help. All materials are provided.

Pizza Pool Party is presented as part of October in Mind, a Proud Spaces initiative nurturing mental wellbeing by strengthening social support, connection and community resilience.

About Bang
Bang is a photojournalist by day and community organiser by night. Outside of work, he enjoys bringing people together through food, conversation and the occasional slightly overambitious idea. Most recently, he has been organising free community food events in Tampines, creating spaces where neighbours and strangers can simply sit down, share a meal and get to know one another.

About LONGKANGBRAIN
A non-profit supporting mental health and the LGBTQ+ community. We create space for difficult conversations and embrace the intersections of our diverse community.

Help us keep Proud Spaces and programmes like October in Mind accessible to our community. Your donation supports our work creating opportunities for connection, care and stronger community resilience.
